I said "Holy shit!" out loud as soon as it started. I'm really excited for this album now!

I think it's still dancy. Just harder.

its all about the beat, and that is not a dance beat.

Ive always thought they had the AOR vibe in there somewhere. This song is good. But that guy is a beat machine, and I don't think this beat/style is what I have come to love by them.

its not. chinese stars have seemed more structured and less messy, altogether, than aor. this song is probably a little more aor than anything i've heard by them in some time. especially since their last album is such a big departure from that aor (faster) sound. i expect this album to have a little of the style you have grown to love (dancey) and something for old times sake.

I pretty much blindly sign on to anything Eric Paul touches, and this is no exception.

I think Turbo Matress was really similar to AOR, like a slowed down version. Rare Sensation was almost dancy enough to my standards (the guitars took from the dancy-ness but went with it well and sounded amazing), Left Brain was Perfect.

rare sensation is my shit. i think it's the perfect cross between the dancey stuff and the weirdness/greatness that is AOR. left brain was good too but there was something about it that threw me off. what comes to mind is that it was too "poppy" but that doesn't really make that much sense. i don't know. all i know is that i love this band and i still jizz my pants every time i realize that i played a show with them once.
